About this role

Brunel are currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join a collaborative, diverse and passionate team of engineers tasked with major maintenance builds throughout Australia.

Our client is a leading Engineering and Operations service provider that pride themselves on their ability to provide a wide range of engineering expertise and solutions whilst offer outstanding service. This is a permanent opportunity at our client’s operations in Brisbane.

  • Understanding of power distribution systems, including protective and control devices.
  • Conversant with IEC61511 Safety Lifecycle and ESD architecture and design and SIL determination
  • Understanding of I&E systems in oil and gas facilities
  • Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT)
  • Understanding of pipeline facility design and hazardous areas
  • Experience with asset and maintenance management systems
  • Understanding and experience using current industry standards

Requirements

  • Degree Qualification (Electrical, Instrument and Control)
  • Experience with asset and maintenance management systems
  • Understanding of pipeline facility design and hazardous area
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to our client's standards
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
